Frank L. Cole was born into a family of Southern storytellers and wrote his first book at age eight. Sadly, he misplaced the manuscript and has since forgotten what he wrote. Highly superstitious and gullible to a fault, Frank will believe in any creepy story you tell him, especially ones involving ghosts and Bigfoot. Currently, along with his wife and three children, he resides in the shadow of a majestic western mountain range, which is most likely haunted.
School tour:
Frank Cole loves to get the imaginations of kids churning as he teaches them how daydreaming is one of the most important brain exercises they can ever do. During his 30-minute presentation at elementary and middle schools, Frank talks with kids about the importance of goals and how reading books everyday can help them reach those goals. He's animated and gets the kids involved by having several of them come up on stage and create their own characters. By the end of the assembly, Frank will have kids excited to read and motivated to concoct their own adventurous stories.
Frank will be touring elementary and middle schools Alabama and Utah in May 2011. Check back for specific dates and schools.
